Job responsibilities:
- Develop and manage positive relationships with assigned drivers
- Oversee and manage driver performance and development
- Analyze safety concerns and generate plans to correct unsafe behavior
- Work with drivers to help balance their needs and customer expectations
- Seek customer feedback and develop action plans for improvement
- proactively.communicate with the customer
- Troubleshoot problems and resolve issues to maintain/improve customer satisfaction
- Collaborate departments including Driver Management, Accounting, Planning, Pricing, and Sales
The most successful candidates will have transportation experience and have worked with the public, are strong communicators and critical thinkers, and are motivated to succeed.
- Driver Management experience preferred
- Working knowledge of TMW software is a plus or other TMS Platforms
- Working knowledge of DOT HOS regulations and North Eastern US geography
- Very strong computer skills
- Outstanding verbal/written communication and listening skills
- Strong sense of resiliency and the ability to take risks
- Creative-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to think critically
