The Account Manager is responsible for providing exceptional customer support by coordinating customer service and sales support activity of new lead generation, key customer account management, special projects, and acting as a primary liaison between our company and its customers. Account Managers will provide polite and friendly resolutions to all issues regarding product inquiries, order placement and confirmation, material availability, shipping, product information and requests for rush orders. In addition, the Account Manager will promote products to satisfy customer needs and meet company Sales goals.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years experience in customer service or sales position within a similar working environment
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; previous Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience is strongly preferred
- Proficient typing skills (40 wpm minimum)
- Strong mathematical skills required in order to calculate product measurements and requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment managing large/complex accounts; with emphasis on flooring and/or surfacing preferred
- Previous experience working with or selling rubber and/or plastic products within the construction industry and/or flooring industry experience (Sales, installation, etc.) is preferred
- Must possess a strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple independent customer accounts
- Project management experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain a positive, polite and friendly demeanor during challenging situations
- Excellent listening, problem-solving and interpersonal skills relative to customer inquiries
- The ability to be proactive, take initiative, be accountable and possess a strong propensity towards change and process improvement
