Job Description
Immediate opening for a first shift lead-person. Working directly with the supervisor, will be responsible for managing departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to the appropriate personnel.
Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
Supervise employees to help ensure efficiency and productivity.
Maintain proper inventory levels.
Manage department priorities.
Report any necessary/urgent operational issues to appropriate personnel.
Complete accident reports.
Learn entire process that includes pumps, valves, motors, vacuum, air pressure, speeds, flow, temperature, etc.
Ensure all functions are accomplished safely by following and enforcing the work instructions.
Provide feedback to improve the entire production process.
Support the Safe Quality Food Packaging System, as well as all other company policies and programs.

Job Requirements
A minimum of 1 year previous manufacturing/production lead experience
