DIE SET-UP TECH
Job Description
" Install and remove dies from presses.
" Set-up auxiliary equipment to specifications.
" Load die, check sample parts to customer print and complete QIP.
" Utilize quality assurance practices and metrology equipment to ensure that product conforms
to applicable design specifications.

Job Requirements
" High School Graduate or equivalent.
" Six months vocational training or 2 years in the field of stamping.
" Ability to perform basic math functions using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
including metric /english conversion. A basic understanding of algebra and geometry.
" Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, set-up, operating and maintenance instructions.
" Knowledge of measuring equipment usage, such as micrometer, caliper and optical comparator.
" Blue print reading with geometric tolerances.
