Tempstar Staffing in Hanover PA is seeking candidates for a 2nd shift Flake Sizing Operator for a company in the East Berlin area.

The Flake Sizing Operator has the principal accountability for the production of flake and larval diets that meet ISO, quality standards. The Flake Sizing Operator sets up sizing equipment and preforms required sift tests/ samples for flake and larval production.

Duties:
-Responsible for the sizing of flake and larvel diets conforming to all Quality Assurance and ISO standards that meet costumer requirements which will include sifting, sizing, and packing, labeling. Keep current records of all manufacturing procedures used in production of flake and larval diets.
-Complete daily production time records and track them with quality assurance records for maximum product control efficiency.
-Responsible for inventory of bags and boxes.
-Responsible for inventory control of finished products and the preparation of products for shipments.
-Maintain proper records and samples for Quality Assurance.
-Cross train in other areas such as Tech Service and Small Pack Line.
-Daily housekeeping in shifting area and clean0up of equipment.
-Sanitation of flake sifting area.

Educational Requirements:
-High School Diploma or GED
-Must be able to read and write English language
-Will accept work experience in Ag or Mill Industry

-Detail-oriented
-Mechanical Aptitude
-Certified to operate forklift or the ability to learn to operate a forklift
-Basic computer knowledge
-Must be able to sustain daily exposure to dust, noise, heat, and cold.
-Exposure to dangerous machinery and other hazardous conditions requiring adherence to PPE, safety rules, and procedures at all times.
-Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, crawl, reach and lift at least 55 pounds on a continuous basis.
-Must pass job-related pre-employment physical and drug-alcohol screening
-Overtime work could be required based on production needs.
