Job Description
Responsibilities & Duties:
Perform Preventative Maintenance on Manufacturing, Baking, Packaging, and Warehouse Equipment
Perform Preventative Maintenance on Building and Building Systems
Responsible to complete and maintain Maintenance logbook and schedule in accordance with Food Safety Program expectations and equipment specifications
Perform general repairs
Research and vet outside suppliers, vendors, and technicians applicable to job requirements
Help reduce equipment and production down times
Help reduce repair and maintenance costs
Be accountable for all equipment and tools in maintenance room and other areas
Maintain, organized and clean maintenance room and washroom
Track all tools and their locations
Maintain professional clean and organized appearances of building inside and outside
Maintain outdoor areas, landscape areas, dock areas, smoking area, parking lot, etc.
Create continuous improvement plans for our operation
Assist in cleaning
Be knowledgeable in minor plumbing issues (fixing toilets, clearing minor clogs)
knowledgeable in minor electric repair helpful (Cords, plugs, switches, breakers, etc.)
Must follow all food safety requirements and expectations
Perform all duties safely
Know and follow Lock-out, Tag-out procedures
Responsible to ensure that equipment meets OSHA standards, and that equipment is used with its designed specifications
Complete Equipment Pre-Op and Post-op Checklists each day.
Complete required temperature checks (Drum heaters, coolers, etc.)
Other duties as needed

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
