MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER
Job Description
Local York company is looking for several new Mechanical Assemblers. This interview first position will be paying between $24-28/hr depending on experience. Frist shift works Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for the assembly of major components and sub-assemblies of blow molding, sheet line and extrusion machinery and auxiliary equipment.
Candidates should be comfortable managing layouts, positioning of components, maintaining
specified tolerances, alignment of drive couplings and pinion gears, roller chain and belt
installations and bore-sighting. Workers will be operating lathes, milling machines, drill presses, saws, surface grinders, etc in order to make any repairs to machinery or custom installations as necessary.
