Tempstar Staffing in Hanover PA is seeking candidates for a Processor Position on 1st shift for a Food Manufacturing company in the Hanover area.

Duties:
-Operates horizontal pressure sterilizing retorts, hydrostatic cooker, fmc sterilimatic cookers under minimum supervison.
-Loads and unloads retorts when required.
-Sterilizes and cook's product according to Quality Assurance specifications.
-Determines that process indicator paint has been properly applied and verifies that indicator paint has turned color (pink to white) indicating that product has been properly cooked.
-Responsible for physically lifitng to 100 pounds as required.
-Keeps area clean in accordance with good housekeeping practices.
-Adheres to common safety practices or rules including the wearing of protective equipments as required.
-Adheres to our plant hygiene standards to insure high product integrity.
-Should not leave work area unless given permission by Supervisor or Leadperson.
-Responsible for execution of food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP's, HACCP, food safety, product quality, food security, etc.
-Perfoms other duties assigned by Supervisor or Leadperson.
